Our Story…
The Dog Depot is a professional day-care service for your beloved dog. It is a safe place for your dog to socialise, play, learn and generally have a cool time while you are away during the day.
I’m Annette… I previously worked in the city whilst owning dogs, and have been privileged to use some fabulous dog day-care facilities in the city. These experiences have shaped my own beliefs in how a dog day-care should be run. I have seen such a change in my young dog after her day at day-care that I realise how important this safe socialisation is. And there’s no denying that having your beloved fur friend in doggy daycare means you don’t have to feel any of that ghastly ‘dog guilt’.
I have owned four dogs, Tahi who was my constant companion for 10 years, Cricket who was the inspiration for this daycare journey and is the centre of our logo, rescued from Huntly and lived 13 years on Waiheke. I now have two dogs Bene and Inca, who you will meet most days in our foyer.
The Dog Depot works with anyone on Waiheke who is keen to be part of the the dog community.
At The Dog Depot, we offer a day full of fun and enjoyment for your dog. It is a great safe place for your dog to socialise, and even learn new skills.
Caring for your furry friend is a privilege for us, and we love them like our own.
